The One Ocean Diving boat "Pono Kai" launches at Haleiwa harbor:

on the north shore of the island of Oahu.  It is a 27ft white dive boat with a blue canopy and oneoceandiving.com along the side of the hull.



Meet the boat at the ramp10 minutes before departure time.  The boat will meet you on the walk way closest to Haleiwa Joes Restaurant just to the right of the "shark shack" of North Shore Shark cage Adventures (*One Ocean Diving is not affiliated with *North Shore Shark Adventure Cage Tours) STAND NEXT TO THE TALL WHITE SCAFFOLDING STRUCTURE (FISH SCALE.)

****MAKE SURE TO ARRIVE EARLY OR ON TIME AS WE DEPART ON SCHEDULE TO MAXIMIZE TIME IN THE WATER AND ASSURE WE ARE IN AND OUT BEFORE WINDY CONDITIONS START TO TAKE EFFECT.***

PARKING:

Please park by the little brown restroom building near the harbor entrance on the west side of Haleiwa Joes restaurant. 


WHEN:

General tour times vary by season and can been seen in the instant book online calendar link (weather permitting.)

Earliest trips generally  have the calmest conditions, advised for those prone to seasickness. 


WHAT TO BRING:


  • Towels (for comfort 2 towels are advised,)  

  • Sunglasses 

  • Water 

  • Camera 

  • change of clothes are recommended

  • BIODEGRADABLE SUNsCREEN (Please no aersol spray sunscreen-we have extra sunscreen onboard.) 


We Provide masks, Snorkels, & Fins & rash guards, however you are welcome to bring your own. 



Rashguards & Wetsuits are highly recommended for jelly fish protection but not required (we get comb jelly fish floating by irregularly.)  We have jelly fish spray and no-itch gell on board if you do get stung.


We do have uv Xcel Rash Guards on board for you to borrow during your program, just ask the captain when you board. 


We do not provide wetsuits except for scuba certification courses and beginner free dive courses.  


If you are knowingly diabetic or allergic to bee stings or jelly fish please let us know as soon as you board the boat and be sure to bring your medications onboard with you.


Please inform crew of any special medical conditions & medications. Safety is our top priority


If you are signing up for a scuba certification or beginner free diving courses all gear including wetsuit can be provided. 


There is a dry storage on board for bags/backpacks, we just ask you to limit your items to one bag per person.  


There is no restroom on board, there are restroom facilities at the harbor to use right before departure.


Persons under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or have them sign the release of liability and assumption of risk waiver prior to departure.


all ages are welcome on board, however there is a 4ft height minimum to get in the water with sharks.


there is a weight restriction of 260 lbs per person, for persons over 255lbs please book two spots under the same name.  This is for safety and comfort.  


Swimming & snorkeling ability: basic swimming ability required.  

basic Prior snorkeling experience highly recommended.
